Personal data processing policy

A dedicated document on the scope, purposes, legal bases, retention periods and user rights in the processing of personal data.
1. General provisions
This Personal Data Processing Policy supplements the Privacy Policy and applies to personal data that Bassario receives through the website, the applications, support, chat, the publication of listings and the technical infrastructure.
2. Categories of data subjects
Bassario may process data of users, website visitors, sellers, buyers, agency representatives, complainants, support users and persons whose data has been included in listings or requests.
3. Scope of data
The data processed may include name, email, Google ID, avatar, listings, photos, messages, favourites, addresses and coordinates of items, technical logs, IP address, user agent, the date and time of actions, support requests and moderation outcomes.
4. Purposes of processing
Data is used for registration, authentication, publication of listings, operation of the chat, the map and favourites, support, moderation, security, fraud prevention, performance of the Bassario documents, improvement of the service and compliance with legal requirements.
5. Legal bases for processing
The legal bases for processing are the acceptance of the Bassario documents, the necessity of providing the service functions, the user's consent, Bassario's legitimate interest in security and product development, and the requirements of applicable law.
6. Retention periods
Data is stored no longer than necessary for the purposes of processing. After an account is deleted, the data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or necessary for security, dispute resolution, accounting or the prevention of repeat violations.
7. User rights
A user may request access to their data, its correction, deletion, restriction of processing, information about data transfers, and the withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis for processing. Requests are sent to support@bassario.com.
8. Third parties and contractors
Bassario may engage technical contractors to process data: hosting, image storage, the mapping service, authentication, monitoring and support services. Such contractors receive only the data necessary for their role.
