Listing Rules

1. General principle

A listing must help the user make an informed decision. It must describe a real item, service or property, be up to date, not be misleading and not breach the law, the rights of third parties or the Bassario documents. Additional rules apply to individual categories and are set out below; they apply together with the general requirements of this document.

2. One item — one listing

Each listing must relate to one specific item, product or service. Duplicates, bulk publication of identical or nearly identical listings, re-posting a deleted listing to circumvent restrictions and publishing one item in different categories without justification are prohibited.

3. Title and description

The title and description must accurately reflect the content of the listing. Clickbait, inaccurate characteristics, hidden conditions, excessive use of capital letters, emoji spam, obscene language, contact details instead of a description and text unrelated to the item are prohibited.

4. Price and terms

The price must correspond to the actual terms of the offer. If the price depends on the term, configuration, commission, negotiation, rent, deposit or other conditions, this must be stated in the listing. Fictitious prices, a price of «1» where it does not reflect a genuine offer, and deliberately understating the price to attract attention are prohibited.

5. Photos

Photos must relate to the item of the listing and must not be misleading. Other people's photos used without rights, watermarks of competing services, images of prohibited content, excessive collages, low-quality photos that do not allow the item to be understood, and images containing third parties' personal data without a lawful basis are prohibited.

6. Real estate

Real estate listings must include current characteristics: object type, district or address, area, number of rooms, floor, price, rental or sale terms, whether a commission applies and any material restrictions. If a listing is posted by an agent or a representative, this must be clear to users. Material encumbrances must not be concealed, and one object must not be presented as another.

7. Vehicles

A vehicle listing must describe the specific car, motorcycle or other machinery that the user is entitled to dispose of or is authorised to offer.

• the characteristics (make, model, year of manufacture, engine size and type, transmission, drive) must be accurate;
• the mileage must be stated truthfully; adjusting the odometer and concealing the real mileage are prohibited;
• material circumstances must be disclosed in the listing: involvement in an accident, significant damage, replacement of key units, «not roadworthy» status, missing documents;
• legal restrictions must not be concealed: pledge, seizure, restriction of registration actions, a dispute over title, ownership by a lessor;
• photos must relate to the vehicle being offered; images of a different unit, promotional renders instead of real photos and concealment of damage are prohibited;
• a vehicle rebuilt after a write-off or assembled from several vehicles must not be presented as intact without an explicit statement to that effect.

8. Services

A service listing must clearly describe what exactly the provider does, on what terms and at what price. The provider is solely responsible for the quality, timing and legality of the services provided.

• the scope of the service, the way the price is calculated and, where applicable, the completion time must be stated;
• services requiring a licence, accreditation, membership of a self-regulatory organisation or another permit may be offered only where the corresponding right is held; the Operator may request confirmation and hide the listing pending review;
• promises of an obviously unattainable result are prohibited: guaranteed cure, guaranteed income, a guaranteed court decision or approval by public authorities;
• services aimed at circumventing the law, blocking measures, security systems and platform rules are prohibited, as is assistance in obtaining documents outside the established procedure;
• impersonating an employee, partner or representative of an organisation without its authority is prohibited.

9. Jobs

The «Jobs» section is a platform for posting vacancies and job-seeking listings. Bassario is not an employer, a recruitment agency, an employment intermediary or a party to employment relations; it does not verify the accuracy of vacancies and does not guarantee employment. Employment and civil-law relations arise directly between the employer (client) and the applicant (contractor).

• a vacancy must relate to a real position and state the type of employment, the nature of the work, the pay or its range, and who is offering the work;
• requirements unrelated to the candidate's professional qualities are prohibited: based on sex, age, race, nationality, origin, language, religion, beliefs, marital or financial status, having children, disability, health condition and other similar characteristics, except where such a requirement is expressly provided for by law for the work in question;
• it is prohibited to require an applicant to pay for employment, for consideration of an application, for training, an internship, paperwork, a uniform or materials, or to place a deposit or transfer money «to verify solvency»;
• listings for knowingly unlawful or fraudulent activity are prohibited, including the transfer of other people's funds, cashing out, opening cards and accounts in one's own name, providing one's own payment details to third parties, and participation in pyramid schemes and «easy income» arrangements;
• a vacancy may be posted on behalf of an organisation only where the poster is authorised to do so; using another company's name and brand to attract applications is prohibited;
• in a job-seeking listing the user publishes only their own data and must not publish third parties' personal data; stating identity documents, home address and other excessive information in open text is not recommended.

10. Goods

A goods listing must relate to a specific item that the user actually has or is entitled to offer.

• the condition (new, used), completeness and material defects must be stated;
• counterfeit and fake goods, and goods that unlawfully use other parties' trademarks, are prohibited;
• posting goods that are not in stock in order to collect contacts or redirect users to other platforms is prohibited;
• if the goods fall into categories whose circulation is restricted, the user must comply with the applicable requirements and, on request, confirm their right to sell them.

11. Contacts and communication

Contact details must belong to the user or to a person who has authorised the user to communicate on their behalf. Publishing other people's phone numbers, emails, documents, home addresses and other personal data without a lawful basis is prohibited. Where the interface shows a «Verified phone» mark, it means only that access to the phone number has been successfully confirmed by SMS. Such a mark is not a full verification of the user's identity and does not guarantee the seller's good faith, the quality of the goods or service, or the safety of the transaction.

12. Category and location

A listing must be placed in an appropriate category and with the correct location. Stating an incorrect city, district or category in order to artificially increase reach is prohibited.

13. Prohibited listings

It is prohibited to post listings for goods and services from the list of Prohibited goods and services, as well as offers that breach the law, the rights of third parties, safety requirements or the platform rules.

14. Moderation

Bassario may reject, hide, change the status of or delete a listing if it breaches the rules, attracts complaints, appears inaccurate, is a duplicate or creates a risk to users. A moderation decision can be appealed via support@bassario.com.
